Time CapsuleI want to wish DeviantART a happy 10th anniversary this upcoming Saturday.  As this website prepares to roll out DAv10 on August 7th, I’m sure many of the new features are stirring some controversy and others are being welcomed with open arms.  Some deviants are likely protesting the website’s increasing corporate nature, the lack of quality submissions, and over some of the administration actions.  It’s funny, because five years ago we were arguing over the same topics – some might say quite futilely.   
It is 2010, so you probably don’t know what happened five years ago.  Time Capsule

NO. Just... Just no. This is not good. Not only can I not figure out how to customize the front page anymore, I have to go to Channels to see all of the things I WANT to see! (Being my Pokémon and EGS searches)Gaaa-aa-aaah! It's pretty obvious to me that there will be lots of complaints for quite some time. :nod:

In other news, I have a Gaia now. Heres a link to my profile, if you should be interested. (no, I don't know how to customize the dang thing.) [link]

Oh, and does anyone else think that the functions of Myspace and Facebook are taking over the nets? :grumble: First Serebii, and now here.... :grumble:

(PS, I now see what people meant when they can't change their mood. Doesn't matter, my last journal was a rant too... but later... not so much.)
